Beyond the Gate
Sister shot to Reclamation where a rambler’s access to the valley is reclaimed by the ferns, through lack of use.
We passed through the gate and headed for the loch down in the valley via the path on the left. As is so often the case whenever I get adventurous, the rains came in and being unsuitably clothed, we beat a hasty retreat back to the campervan. I would’ve loved a shot from the floor of the valley facing back to where we came, but the view was obscured by the rain and cloud.
A re-working of a previously published shot.
Exact Location forgotten but somewhere in Wester Ross, Scotland
